What is the difference between an in-house EA/PA and Ivy Concierge?

An Executive or Personal Assistant is usually desk-based and employed full or part time, which means payroll tax, social contributions, pension, holiday pay, sick cover, equipment, and a recruitment process every time someone leaves.

With Ivy Concierge you have none of those costs. You get a senior, vetted personal assistant on a flexible retainer, so you spend far less, in money and management time, than on a full-time employed EA at a similar level.

All you need to do is give us an hour or two in the first weeks to get fully up to speed on you, your household, and the way you like things done.

What are the benefits of working with us instead of hiring?

It is cost-effective: we work remotely as standard and you only pay for the hours you actually use, on a flexible monthly basis.

It saves real time, you hand over the admin, logistics, and small decisions, and stay focused on what only you can do.

You get a senior operator from day one. No training period, no probation, no risk of a bad hire. And the relationship scales up or down as your life does.

How does your pricing work?

There are no hidden fees, and your bank of hours only starts being used once we have completed our onboarding call. You are billed upfront ahead of your first month or project.

We recommend starting with a minimum of 10 hours per month for personal assistant work, and 20 hours per month for combined personal and executive support. You can always increase or top up if you need to, and the retainer guarantees you protected time each month.

For one-off projects, a move, an event, a difficult trip, we are happy to quote on a fixed basis, separately from any retainer.

Where in the world do you operate?

Worldwide. The house operates remotely as standard and travels on request, wherever our principals live, work, or land.

For complex itineraries or sourcing on the ground we draw on a quietly vetted partner network across Europe, the Gulf, the Americas, and Asia, rather than improvise.

What sort of things can a personal assistant do in a day?

+ Build the simple operating system behind your week, calendar, travel, follow-ups, recurring admin, so nothing slips.

+ Plan, research, and book that long-overdue family holiday within your budget.

+ Clean up your inbox, create filters, flags, and replies so it stops feeling overwhelming.

+ Organise a household move, a renovation, or coordinating tradespeople and quotes.

+ Pull together ideas and costs for an off-site, a team dinner, or a private celebration.

+ Arrange anniversary dinners, social plans, gifts, and the small thoughtful things that get forgotten.

+ Help you find a home, book viewings, or coordinate valuations and paperwork.

+ Run a data entry, CRM migration, or research project on your behalf.

+ Arrange a loved one's 40th, 60th, or other meaningful event end to end.

What is your stance on discretion?

Total. We never name clients, share photographs, or use engagements as marketing material. Press, social, and even casual references are off the table.

Every engagement begins with an NDA as a matter of course.

Do you handle security or legal matters?

We coordinate with your existing security and legal counsel, and can introduce trusted partners where none are in place. The house itself does not provide either service directly.

How quickly do you respond?

Retained clients have a direct private channel for everyday matters, with a clear protocol in place for anything that arises outside usual hours.

Every new enquiry receives a thoughtful, personal reply from the principal. We attend to each one with care, never haste.
